The Christmas concerts of the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra have a long and successful tradition in Vienna’s cultural scene.
The most beautiful compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauss and Emmerich Kalman are presented every year on December 25, 26, 27 and 28.
The orchestra will be accompanied by the four international vocal soloists Sera Gösch, Rita-Lucia Schneider, Kammersänger Franz Supper and Michael Mrosek. The conductor is Giuseppe Montesano.

There are no numbered seats in most historic concert halls in Vienna. You will be shown to your seat by the evening staff within the category you have booked. If you have booked your tickets together, you will always be seated together.
The box office opens 1 hour before the concert begins. We recommend being on time.
There is no strict dress code for the Vienna Hofburg, although smart casual is recommended.
The Vienna Hofburg Orchestra is a symphony orchestra. This means that they perform with 30 – 40 musicians, accompanied by opera singers, ballet and under the direction of a conductor. This setup is perfect for the large concert halls in which they perform.
Full refunds are possible up to one week before the day of the concert. After that, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged. All cancelations must be made in writing.
Elevators are available in most concert halls – however, booking is recommended.
