The musicians of the Mozart Orchestra do what they can. But, guys, the golden hall of the Musikverein... the acoustics of this so-called 'shoebox' are so great that I'm very happy to have been here. Next time will be during the concert season.

All information at a glance

The program consists mainly of music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. For example, pieces from “Don Giovanni”, “The Marriage of Figaro”, “The Magic Flute” or “Eine kleine Nachtmusik”. But since we are in Vienna, there must also be works by Johann Strauss, namely the “Danube Waltz” and the “Radetzky March”.

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra plays for 1 hour and 45 minutes, including a 15-minute interval.

The Mozart Orchestra plays most of its concerts at the Musikverein in Vienna. Built in 1870, the Musikverein and especially its “Golden Hall” are world-famous thanks to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s New Year’s Concert held there and can be seen on television in 92 countries.
The Vienna Mozart Orchestra also performs at the Vienna State Opera on selected dates.

You will receive your seat tickets in the evening between 19:15h and 20h at the box office, where you must present our eTicket or our order confirmation. If you have booked your tickets together, you will always be seated together. The box office opens 1 hour before the concert starts.

There is no strict dress code.

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra consists of 30 musicians in period costumes, accompanied by 2 opera singers under the direction of a conductor.

Full refunds are possible up to one week before the day of the concert. After that, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged. All cancelations must be made in writing.
