The Vienna Residence Orchestra, a traditional Viennese chamber orchestra, was founded by the pianist and conductor Paul Moser and his wife Sylvia Moser to bring the works of Viennese classical music to perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its foundation, numerous concert series have taken place in the most beautiful Viennese palaces. The orchestra interprets works from Mozart to Johann Strauss in various large-scale arrangements. For his exclusive ensemble, Paul Moser selected only musicians who can authentically bring Viennese classical music – including composers such as Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven – to life. These musicians also possess the special sensitivity required to make Viennese waltzes an extraordinary experience. The typical Viennese sound, made famous by the strings of the Vienna Philharmonic, is another secret of the orchestra’s success. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sylvia Moser puts together programs that leave nothing to be desired for lovers of Viennese music. Ballet dancers from the Vienna State Opera and Volksoper as well as renowned opera singers interpret not only the musical masterpieces of W. A. Mozart, but also the rousing music of the Strauss family and classic Viennese operetta melodies. <\/span><\/p>\n

Just the right length of time and split into smaller performances along with some opera and ballet. The musicians were excellent. The program is dedicated to Viennese classical music. In addition to works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauss, Antonio Vivaldi, Johannes Brahms and Ludwig van Beethoven, you will also find some lesser-known gems. <\/p>\n

Excerpts from the program include the appropriate season from the“Four Seasons<\/strong>” by Antonio Vivaldi,“Eine kleine Nachtmusik<\/strong>” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the“2nd Violin Romance in F major<\/strong>” by Ludwig van Beethoven. Of course, the famous“Danube Waltz<\/strong>” and“The Radetzky March<\/strong>” by Johann Strauss are also not to be missed. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The performance usually takes place in the Palais Alte B\u00f6rse<\/strong> in the first district<\/strong>, right next to the Votive Church and the university.<\/p>\n

The old stock exchange was built by the father of historicism, Theophil Freiherr von Hansen<\/strong>, between 1870 and 1877 in the typical Viennese style,<\/strong> also known as Neo-Renaissance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hansen was a specialist for perfect acoustics<\/strong>, he also built the Vienna Musikverein and the Parliament. His design is still imitated in modern concert halls today. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
