We deploy musicians in our ensembles who play in prestigious Viennese orchestras, in order to present jointly the highlights of the Viennese classics. To find an appropriate venue, which justifies the musical works, was and is still considered as very important aspect to us. The interior architecture of the St. Anne Church emphasizes acoustically and on a wonderful way the enjoyable soun...ds of the masterful music.

Concert in St. Anne’s Church - What to expect:

The concert:
The Concert’s in St. Anne’s Church last 70 minutes, with no break.The program consists mostly of baroque pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven. On selected days Franz Schubert’s greatest work of chamber music “Death and the Maiden” is performed on historical instruments.

The venue:
St. Anne’s Church is in Vienna’s f...irst district and is known as one of the most beautiful baroque churches of the city. The church was built already in 1518 and 1897 the "Oblates of St. Francis de Sales" have taken over the services in the church and later they received the ownership. The whole interior design was arranged by Christoph Tausch and is perfectly suited for church concerts.

Seating:
Like most of the historical concert locations in Vienna, the St. Anne’s Church has no numbered seats. There is free seating within the category. The evening box opens 30 minutes before the concert starts. We advise to be on time.

Dresscode:
There is no special dress code, but please respect the church.

Orchestra Size and cast at the Concerts in St. Anne’s Church:
The Classic Exclusive Ensemble and the Aeon Quartet are both String Quartets. On selected days the Ensemble will play on period instruments built in 18th century.
